watching italian foreign films at the moment and had to mention 'il postino'...maria grazia cucinotta is the epitome of  unashamed italian sexiness (the type that is completely unattainable to the rest of the world...read; me) , the scenery is breathtaking and it is an un-cynical, politically tinted and romantic story that today's rom com can't compete with...a little innocent, yes...but italian just sounds so good and 'beatrice russo' inspired florals are on my mind now...
