braid me baby...

ah braids...pippy long stocking, german frau and class nerd all spring to mind with tightly woven locks of plaited and entertwined mane...chic? non! but, lately, braids are more 'hair-deco' than 'kooky do'..alexander wang spring 2010 introduced the idea and now it's woven itself into cute up-styles and delicate knots...so after looking at the celebrity following, (gives the 'braidy bunch' a whole new meaning, doesn't it? ) i set about braiding my bangs a la olivia palermo; it took some trial , some error and here is the result..top tips? start with 2 small pieces twisting them and then add more hair and work them into the braid as you go...and go for delicate braids rather that cumbersome chunks...braids away!
