monday and it's almost march...

life won't let me blog of late...it seems every time i go to put pen to, erm, computer screen, i'm whisked away..but this week i have returned! and i have much to discuss...this week will see the first of my new series of posts entitled 'fashion narnia' (an ode to one of my favourite books).....each post will take a peek inside a fashionable friend's wardrobe where they'll reveal their most cherished garments and accessories..the first to be raided and invaded is sarah waldron of the licentiate so stay tuned...

narnia wardrobe taken from the lion, the witch and the wardrobe by c.s. lewis

i love to read. incessantly and uncontrollably, reading is one of my favourite things...but sometimes it really is easier to just sit and watch a story unfold on front of your eyes..i've been watching loads of fashion related documentaries and thought i'd recommend a few  in case you feel the urge..

lagerfeld confidential is a sneak peek into the life the kaiser himself and is more about the man than the labels he has made famous...

the september issue - this will go down a classic for ever more...grace coddington is the star in this fly on the wall doc about the big V...

the model agency has just started on channel 4 and documents the workings of the offices at premier,  famous for managing countless supermodels...

also from channel 4 comes a film on the life of alexander mcqueen and isabella blow...'mcqueen and i' debuted friday and is a treat  for the film footage of his runway masterpieces alone...

the bbc created 'the secret world of haute couture' is an insight into the declining world of couture and the wealthiest women in the world who wear it..

next on my list is 'valentino: the last emperor'...i can't wait to see the tour de force that is mr. valentino get up to all kinds of wonderful italian mischief...
