there were so many incredible eateries all over london and i made the most of them to fuel my track across the city..
covent garden
in covent garden, i found 'candy cakes' - a luscious cupcake, ice-cream and general sugar fix emporium..well worth poppong in even if it's just to admire the goods...
my favourite covent garden retreat is 'muffinskis'...the ten year old hand-made muffin masters make the most incredible organic muffins...best of all they're vegetarian friendly and the coffee is great too..i indulged in a raspberry and white chocolate muffin but there are over 80 recipes...

notting hill
sitting out on the pavement in notting hill gate was completed by my warm , freahly baked pain au chocolat and cappucino from 'paul'...
south kensington
i had to visit one of the hummingbird bakeries, the cookbook is incredible and seeing the real thing in south kensington was lovely- full of happy diners and friendly staff....
