amsterdam - vintage shopping

amsterdam was beautiful - so picturesque and diverse...the first city in the world to grant same sex marriage rights and there is a sense of freedom and acceptance for all kinds of everything and everyone which i loved in the city...i was so taken with everything that i didn't buy a single garment..not one!! i'm pretty broke and had very little time...but i saw plenty , so here's my guide to the city's shopping...

ps depot deluxe i stumbled upon this boutique on ''de negen straatjes' (the 9 little streets) , where tiny boutiques and independent clothing stores are plentiful.. ps depot deluxe mesmerised me with second hand and vintage pieces-ysl ,  prada, acne...and these burnt orange chanel pieces (below) ! the guy section was just as promising , full of nike high tops...

the darling and episode (both found in de negen straatjes) are both great vintage shops with plenty of room to rummage around...

the independat boutiques are the city's selling point - hat shops, shoe shops, jewelery...the art books and artist studios in the jordaan area are beautiful too...and you don't need to spend money; make like me and just wander the streets and take it all in...
